High school also brought an unexpected stage: I represented a client on Dragons’ Den. Standing in front of investors taught me how to tell a tight story, take hard questions without flinching, and turn feedback into a better product. Those early public moments built the confidence to take bigger risks.

In 2018 I taught myself to mine Bitcoin in my mother’s basement, literally using BC’s cold winter air to keep the rigs cool. It was a hands-on crash course in systems, power management, managing humidity, and scaling hardware under constraints. That project wasn’t about the hype: it was about engineering a solution with limited resources, squeezing efficiency out of everything, and learning how to run tech operations that don’t break when pressure rises.

Those bootstrap experiences led me into finance and operations. I served a short but formative term as a CFO and later focused on proposal writing that delivered real-world impact: securing multi-million dollar funding for Indigenous housing, water systems, and infrastructure projects, and supporting environmental measures that protected fish populations. I’ve seen how the right finances, processes, and partnerships can change the trajectory of a community, and I’ve written the applications that made that possible.

Today I lead Reeve Business Solutions Inc., where I bring together everything I’ve learned, from basement rigs and startup scrappiness, to corporate-level finance and community project delivery. We help organizations put reliable systems and financial clarity in place so they can scale without losing control.

In my free time, I enjoy snowboarding, skiing, petting dogs, hiking, and engaging in various activities, so I can mess around the with data sets out of sheer interest. Yes, I am proudly a huge nerd, no doubt there.
