This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Otherwise it collects information in one place only: the contact form, when you choose to send a message. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is stored in your own browser and is not sent anywhere.

Who is responsible
Reeve Business Solutions Inc. is responsible for the information you send us. Brendan Reeve, Owner and Founder, answers privacy questions. You can reach him at [email protected], or by post at 777 Hornby Street, Suite 600, Vancouver, BC V6Z 1S4.
The contact form
The contact form on the Contact page, and the question box on the home page, collect what you type: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the topic you pick and your message. They are used for one purpose: to reply to you.
When you press send, the message is emailed from this website's own server to our inbox at [email protected]. It is not sent to any third-party form service, and it is not added to a mailing list. To filter out spam, the server briefly counts how many messages arrive from each internet address in an hour, and discards that count after the hour.
Contact-form messages are kept like any other email: for seven years, as part of our business records.
When you email or book a meeting
When you email us, book a meeting through our Google Calendar booking page, or send a message through the contact form, we keep:
- your email and our replies, in our Google Workspace mailbox;
- your name, contact details and what you asked about, in Google Contacts and in our own internal business records, so we can follow up and keep track of enquiries;
- for a booking, the meeting time and anything you write in the booking form, in Google Calendar.
We use this only for internal purposes: to reply to you, to arrange and prepare for meetings, and to run the business. We do not sell it, share it for anyone else's marketing, or add you to a mailing list.
We use an AI assistant, Claude by Anthropic, to help organise enquiries and draft replies, so the content of your message may be processed by it for that purpose. Google and Anthropic are service providers that may store or process information outside Canada.
The do-not-send list under the intake form below applies to email as well.
The intake form
The Discovery Package starts with an intake form. It is linked from the Discovery Package page and hosted by a third-party form service, not by this website.
The form asks the eligibility questions once, at the start, instead of discovering them halfway through drafting. It asks who on your side would press submit, receive the funder's mail and answer the funder's questions if an application is ever written. It also asks how you heard about Reeve Business Solutions; that answer is used only to learn whether anything we publish is worth publishing.
Please do not send any of the following, on the form or by email:
- a Social Insurance Number
- a bank or card number
- a business or registration number
- a status card number
- a password
- a copy of an identity document
None of these is needed to assess eligibility. If a funder later needs one, you give it to the funder directly, and we keep only a reference to where the document sits, never the number.
Documents you send for an engagement
Before any Discovery Package work begins, you sign a non-disclosure agreement. Bookkeeping onboarding sets up a secure document folder for your engagement, and that folder is the place for the documents the work needs.
Cookies
This website uses Google Analytics, a Google service, to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are, what device and browser they use, and how they arrived. It sets cookies in your browser to tell one visit from another. Google processes this information on its own servers, which may be outside Canada. We use the reports only to improve the website; we do not use them for advertising, and we cannot see who you are from them.
You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same either way.
The only other things the site stores are your light-or-dark mode choice and whether you paused the background motion, if you make either choice, in your own browser's local storage. They never leave your device.
Questions or corrections
To ask about information you have sent us, or to correct it, email us at [email protected].
We keep emails and the records that go with them for seven years, as part of our business records, and then delete them.
To see the information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it, email us. We will tell you what we hold and act on your request. If the law requires us to keep a record for longer, for example a record of work we billed for, we will tell you that and keep only what is required.
