Guides
Funding eligibility guides
Plain-language guides to grant eligibility in British Columbia and Alberta. Every program rule in them is read from the funder's own page, linked in the guide, and dated with when it was last checked.

Checked September 2026
A page checked in September 2026 may have moved, closed or changed its rules since. The funder's page is the source; this page is the map.

How these guides are kept
Every program rule in these guides is read from the funder's own page, and that page is linked in the guide so you can read it yourself. Each guide carries the month it was last checked.
Every program rule quoted in these guides carries its source and the date it was checked. A date that no real source stated is left blank rather than guessed.
A wrong deadline is worse than a missing one.
Program figures we have not checked at source - for example WorkBC's wage subsidy and the BC Employer Training Grant - are not quoted here. Reading them at source is part of the work.
Insights
Three short pieces on how we work: eligibility first, no success fee, and you submit.

Why eligibility comes before the application
Whether you qualify is a separate question from whether the writing is good, and it is the one to settle first.

Why we never take a success fee
A grant writer paid a percentage of the award has a financial reason to overstate your odds, and an honest assessment of those odds is what we are selling.

You submit it in your own name - and what that gets you
We prepare the application and you submit it, so you are the contact of record and the funder's correspondence comes to you directly.

We cannot and do not guarantee that any application will be approved or that any funding will be received. Funding decisions rest entirely with the funder, on criteria and priorities outside our control.
