Why we never take a success fee

The reason is the thing being sold

An honest assessment of your odds is the thing we are actually selling.

If nothing is worth applying for, the assessment says so. That is a real outcome, and you have spent $500 + GST rather than thousands finding out.

We will not put a probability on an application. Reeve Business Solutions publishes no success rate and no funding total.

What you pay instead

Rates are quoted in writing after a free 20-minute call and before any work starts. The one published price is the Discovery Package: $500 + GST, flat.

The submission-ready application package is the finished application assembled in the funder's required format, every attachment identified and checked off, and a written instruction sheet telling you exactly how and where to submit it and what to expect back. You submit it.

The flat per-application fee is the deliberate alternative to a contingency.

Quick check-overs are not billed. That is a deliberate goodwill allowance, not an oversight.

Drafting it yourself and having us edit your draft instead, quoted in writing, is a real way to reduce your own bill.

Fees are owed whether or not you are funded

No fee is contingent on an outcome. Fees are owed whether or not any application is funded.

We cannot and do not guarantee that any application will be approved or that any funding will be received. Funding decisions rest entirely with the funder, on criteria and priorities outside our control.

An eligibility finding, on the other hand, is complete when it is written. It does not depend on a funder, a committee or a decision that may never come.

For the Discovery Package and grant engagements, the invoice is paid before work begins. Invoices are issued from Xero and paid through Stripe.

We do not claim that our fee is fundable under any program.
