You submit it in your own name - and what that gets you

We find out which programs you actually qualify for, and draft the application that is worth writing. You submit it, in your own name.

We prepare it. You submit it.

Reeve Business Solutions prepares applications, and the client submits them. On a grant engagement we sell five things: research, eligibility assessment, the drafted application, review, and a written submission instruction sheet.

We never press submit, never contact a funder or any government body on your behalf, never appear as your contact on a form, never arrange a meeting with a public office holder, and never answer a funder's post-submission questions directly. Even a bare request for program information is sent by you.

What that gets you

The application is made in your name and is your representation, not ours. You review and sign off the final version before anything goes anywhere.

Submitting it yourself gets you this:

  • You are the contact of record.
  • The funder's correspondence comes to you directly.
  • The application is yours.
  • You are never waiting on an intermediary to relay an answer.

A client who has read the application well enough to submit it has read it.

What it does not do: we make no claim that submitting it yourself makes a decision come faster or an application more likely to succeed.

How it runs after the Discovery Package

  1. Drafting Us

We draft, or you draft and we edit at a lower rate. Both are quoted in writing first.

  2. Review and sign-off You

You review and sign off the final version before anything goes anywhere.

  3. The submission-ready package Us

The finished application assembled in the funder's required format, every attachment identified and checked off, and a written instruction sheet telling you exactly how and where to submit it and what to expect back. Quoted per application.

  4. You submit You

You press submit, in your own name.

  5. The funder writes to you Both

If the funder comes back with questions after submission, you answer them and we draft the answers.

The full sequence, from intake to the funder's reply, is on how it works.

What it asks of you

This way of working asks more involvement of you than a service that takes the whole thing off your desk.

Someone on your side must be able to press submit before the deadline, receive the funder's mail, and bring us anything the funder asks. It is worth confirming who at the start. If nobody has that capacity, the review meeting is the place to say so.

The intake form asks who on your side will press submit, receive the funder's mail and answer the funder's questions, if an application is ever written.
